Black rear trunk fascia and other police emblems - Crown Vic Forums

2003 P71 Crown Vic

Anybody knopw where I can find the black rear fascia that is often seen on police vics? I would also like a chrome "INTERCEPTOR" decal rather than a "POLICE INTERCEPTOR" so as not to tick off any cops. Has anyone had any problems with "POLICE INTERCEPTOR" on the back?

No, I've never had a problem with the "Police Interceptor" badge. There's no reason at all for that to cause any issues cause it's simple a designation of the car. It's a Police Interceptor.

I have the interceptor badging on the back of mine and the grille emblem on the front. It just makes them think twice before pulling you over!!! Plus it makes people move out of your way on the highway!

I never thought anyone would not think to look at the tags to see if it's a police vehicle but the other day a neighbor from up the street was walking his dog and came over and said "I've been meaning to congratulate you on becoming a police officer. It's nice to have your car parked in the neighborhood at night." He was amazed when I told him it was just a retired police unit.
