Hello, I am new to the P71 community but have been working on Crown Vics on and off for many years. Currently I have a 2005 P71 CHP unit that is stored at my home and belongs to a semi retired Orange County Sheriff Deputy. I have been and always will be a Chevy guy but I must say this, the Crown Vic beats our Caprice in most ways....except in the drive train. If Ford had placed a better motor and trans in the Crown Vic, they would have had the best of both worlds. Hope to see more people join this forum.

It's good that you're getting pics of it now so you can compare later. Are you going to do a motor swap or stay stock?

stock, once i get more used to driving it i'll start adding performance parts, but it will always be stock.
