Default Windshield wiper problems?

My name is Paul and I have a 95 p71 with 108k it was a fire car for most its life. I realy love this car but its having a few problems from siting to long. The wipers worked fine for a while but when I drove to FL it rained the hole time and the nexted day I had to turn the switch a few times and the hey worked. Now the work but do not hide away under the hood? I wanted to know if anybody else had this problem and if so how did they fix it?

Hi Paul and welcome. That's a new one on me, but hopefully someone can help you out.

Sounds like the wiper motor is going out. Either that or the wiper switch. I could see either one causing those issues.

Wiper motor probably. We get that a lot with our cabs. When you turn the switch off they stand straight up I'm assuming. I'm more familiar with the newer Crowns but it's always been an issue
