Default 99 Crown Vic Rear End Swap
I have a 99 crown vic. its an old cop car 4.6l . . . It has axle noise and instead of buying axles and bearings .I was wondering if i could swap the rear end out of a 96 Lincoln Town Car. The rear end in this car is good.

Very good question. My guess is that the P71 has a beefed-up rear end but I'm not sure. Are they the same size?
